Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest reported transfer rumour concerning the club.
This comes after it was published in a report by Desportivo de Guimaraes (via Record, as cited by Sport Witness) that Tottenham are interested in re-signing Vitoria de Guimaraes midfielder Marcus Edwards this summer.
The report also claims that fellow Premier League side Manchester United also have eyes on a summer deal for Edwards.
It adds that any interested club will have to pay between €20-25 million (£18-22.6 million) to secure his signature, although Spurs have a huge advantage as they’re due 50% of a future sale.

In 30 appearances for the Portuguese club, Edwards has managed to score seven goals and provide seven assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

It appears that the majority of these Spurs fans wouldn’t want to see their club bring Edwards back to England.
With Spurs already having Heung-Min Son, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela in their squad, they may not need to bring in another winger this summer.
