Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest reported transfer rumour concerning the club.

How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

The report also claims that fellow Premier League side Manchester United also have eyes on a summer deal for Edwards.

It adds that any interested club will have to pay between €20-25 million (£18-22.6 million) to secure his signature, although Spurs have a huge advantage as they’re due 50% of a future sale.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest news.

Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:

The 21-year-old left the London club back in September 2019 for a move to the Portuguese club on a free transfer after working his way through the Spurs youth system (per Transfermarkt)

In 30 appearances for the Portuguese club, Edwards has managed to score seven goals and provide seven assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Now that it has been reported that Spurs could look to bring the Englishman back to the club this summer, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter with many Spurs fans sharing their views on the matter.

However, there were some Spurs fans responding to this post who were not as excited as others regarding this potential transfer move.

Should Spurs bring Marcus Edwards back to the club this summer?

It appears that the majority of these Spurs fans wouldn’t want to see their club bring Edwards back to England.

With Spurs already having Heung-Min Son, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela in their squad, they may not need to bring in another winger this summer.
