Spurs fans on Twitter were delighted to hear that Jose Mourinho is reportedly a fan of QPR ace Eberechi Eze, although the North London club could face competition from West Ham United and Newcastle United for his signature this summer.
The Daily Mail suggests (via TranSPURS), that the Portuguese manager is an admirer of the 21-year-old. The youngster has enjoyed a superb season in the Championship, contributing 12 goals and eight assists across his 37 appearances, while averaging an impressive 7.45/10 rating for his performances (per Whoscored).
His form has helped Mark Warburton’s side to 13th position in the second division, with the Hoops still with an outside chance of making the playoffs, with fixtures set to resume on June 20. Spurs will perhaps be hoping that the Rs aren’t promoted this season, as this would surely dramatically increase Eze’s current Transfermarkt valuation of £8.1 million. The report from the Daily Mail, however, suggests that he is valued closer to £20 million.
Could Eze be as good as Dele Alli for Spurs?

Some fans suggest that it would be a good idea to sign Eze and then send him back on loan to QPR the next season, in order to aid his development further.
I’d sign him then send him out on loan just for one more season

One fan even suggested that the 21-year-old would be Spurs’ most interesting signing since Dele Alli, who has impressed since joining the Lilywhites from MK Dons in 2015.
