Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some footage of the players in training at Hotspur Way.

The club’s official Twitter account shared the footage of the players taking part in an exercise at Hotspur Way. It shows the players passing the ball between each other using their hands, with one team breaking away and scoring through Dele Alli. Tanguy Ndombele reverses the ball through his legs, and although the target of the game looks to be to score with your head, the former MK Dons man looks to mirror Diego Maradona in his ‘headed’ finish, much to the frustration of some of the other Spurs players.

How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

The Spurs account then asked fans whether they thought this was a legitimate goal or not, which has led to a lot of Lilywhites supporters replying with their thoughts on the footage.

Reaction from Spurs fans to the training footage can be seen in the tweets below.

A lot of Spurs fans were quick to praise the assist from Ndombele. The Frenchman has endured a difficult time since joining from Lyon in a club-record fee last summer, with fitness issues regularly proving to be a problem for the 23-year-old, as he has completed 90 minutes just three times in the Premier League so far this season. Hopefully, for Spurs fans, the enforced break will allow him to have worked hard on his fitness so that he can be ready for the return of the top-flight later this month.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the footage of the players having fun in training, with many reserving special praise for Ndombele. Hopefully, for Lilywhites supporters, he will be able to produce similar assists, albeit not with his hands, in the remaining Premier League fixtures.
