Tottenham Hotspur-focused podcaster and radio host Ricky Sacks caught the attention of a lot of Spurs fans recently after he posted a tweet to share the alleged news that 22-year-old defender Juan Foyth’s departure from the North London club “has been practically concluded”.
Spanish outlet ‘El Dia’ recently published a report stating that Foyth’s future “is defined”. This report from mentions Catalan giants Barcelona, Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United, as well as two Serie A sides as potential destinations for the 22-year-old should he depart from North London this summer.
Sacks’ tweet sharing this has caught the attention of many Tottenham supporters, who have shared their thoughts on this alleged news in response to this post.

Many of the Tottenham fans who responded to this post didn’t seem particularly pleased by this claim, with some sharing that they think allowing Foyth to leave the club this summer would be a mistake.

Do you think that it would be a mistake for Spurs to allow Juan Foyth to leave the club?YESNO |
It would be a shame if he was to move on, so much potential there.

One Spurs fan replied to this post to share that they believe their club will need to sign another centre-back now, whilst another Tottenham supporter declared that they believe Spurs should have played Foyth in a defensive-midfield role before allowing him to depart from the club.

Since joining Spurs for a transfer fee of £11.7m back in August 2017, Foyth has made just 32 appearances for the club. With that in mind, it may be fair to say that Foyth has struggled to make an impact at Spurs thus far and it mightn’t be too surprising to see that the latest reports are claiming that he is close to leaving the club.
