Can you score 20/20 on this Premier League quiz? Starting off easy, who is the top scorer in the Premier League this season?

The Portuguese international is currently on loan at Arsenal, but he has not made an appearance for the Gunners.

The Mirror believes that he could end up leaving without making an appearance as his deal is due to expire both at Arsenal and Southampton on the 30th.

The 28-year-old, therefore, has a decision to make.

Are you happy to see Soares leave?

Whether he signs an extension and risk an injury ahead of a free transfer, or follows Ryan Fraser’s lead and refuse to extend his deal until the end of the season, if he wishes to play for the Gunners he has until the 23rd of June to negotiate an extension.

TIF Thoughts…

The Saints shipped Soares off to the Emirates Stadium in January as they secured the signing of Kyle Walker-Peters on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Soares’ move has not exactly gone to plan as he has not even featured for a minute for Mikel Arteta’s side.

The Portuguese international was signed from Sporting Lisbon by the Saints in 2015 and the 28-year-old has made 138 appearances for the Saints, but it appears that his time at St. Mary’s is up with his deal set to expire and he even confirmed himself that he would be leaving the club.

Soares’ performances this season have been decent achieving a 6.76 average rating for his displays in the Premier League, but it looks like he is leaving the club when this season is over.

The question is: will he play on for Arsenal or decide against it?
