Fans of Newcastle United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a recent interview with winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
The tweet, which was uploaded by the official Newcastle United Twitter account, shared a link to the interview on the club’s website, in which the winger spoke about preparing to return to Premier League action, his relationship with the Newcastle United supporters, social media and tackling racism.
In reaction to the interview, fans of the club have flocked to have their say, with many taking the opportunity to call the club out regarding their lack of communication to the fans over a number of issues.
If your back to business like you say you are how about refunding everyone for the ticket money you’re refusing to give back!!

Where’s our ticket refunds???
Give us our money back.
The larger news outlets like @BBCNEandCumbria and @BBCSport have now picked up on the issue.@FootyAccums also getting the word out.
Your silence is disgraceful.
You won’t silence us.@premierleague #NUFC

This football club is an absolute disgrace. The city deserves better. The man in the picture, @asaintmaximin deserves better, and more importantly so do the fans. Sort it.

Since joining Newcastle from OGC Nice for a fee of £16.2 million at the start of this season, Saint-Maximin has gone on to make 18 appearances in the Premier League, scoring two goals and providing one assist, averaging an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.18/10.
In addition to this, the winger has also featured for the club three times in the FA Cup, during which he has managed one goal.
Does Saint-Maximin have the potential to become a Newcastle great?
Yes
No
However, it does not seem to be Saint-Maximin’s form, or indeed his interview, that these Newcastle fans are frustrated about.
You’ve a brass neck on ya. Communicate with the fans and refund season tickets #NUFC #SportsDirectShame #AshleyOut

If Mike Ashley stays he will be gone whenever the window opens

Back to robbing fans more like. #RefundTheFans

As such, it would very much appear that Newcastle fans are more concerned with receiving news about season ticket refunds, as well as an update on the club’s ongoing takeover, rather than the interview with Saint-Maximin.
