A group of Newcastle United supporters have been discussing reports that the club are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur regarding the possibility of extending Danny Rose’s loan deal until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old arrived at St. James’ Park in January but is due to return to London at the end of June. However, given the current situation and the fact that the season, upon its resumption, will finish significantly later than originally planned, Steve Bruce’s side have entered negotiations regarding a potential extension to his stay.
Since arriving, Rose has played just six times for the Magpies (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk). He has made no secret of his disapproval of the Premier League’s plans to restart in June and made a series of expletive comments during an Instagram video (via TalkSPORT).
Here is how a sample of the club’s supporters have responded to the report from Sky Sports.

Rose made 29 appearances for Sunderland once upon a time and although it isn’t clear whether or not that plays a part in the way these fans feel about him, it certainly won’t help his cause. Whilst in our opinion, he raised some very valid concerns regarding player safety, the way in which he delivered them hasn’t gone down well with those who follow the Toon, and understandably so.
Noo ??

It seems the opinion amongst these fans is a unanimous one. However, it appears the club has a very different view as they look to come to some sort of agreement with Spurs.
