Newcastle United-focused journalist Lee Ryder recently posted a tweet that included a link to an article from Chronicle Live which shares an update on the feelings of the Toon’s prospective new owners with regard to the length of time that the Premier League are taking to come to a decision on their Newcastle takeover attempt.
This article from Chronicle Live explains that the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), which is in the process of completing a takeover of Newcastle United, is “prepared to wait” for the Premier League to come to a decision on whether or not they will approve this takeover via their owners’ and directors’ tests. Ryder’s tweet states that PIF has not been “put off” the deal despite the Premier League’s “slow decision-making process”.
This report goes on to state that the Premier League have had to “take further examinations” on this proposed takeover than they normally would in order to establish how much of a connection there is between PIF and the BeoutQ network. As per the Daily Mail, BeoutQ are said to have stolen “millions of pounds worth of broadcasting rights”, leading to Qatari-based broadcaster BeIN Sports raising an issue over this takeover.

Does this alleged news make you feel more confident about this takeover being completed?YESNO |
Surely it shouldn’t take 9 weeks for the Premier League to make a decision, one tiny word “YES or NO” is all we want to know. Or is it simply because its NUFC. I hope Richard Keys is enjoying what he started, he’s always had something against Newcastle United

While this report does claim that this takeover is taking longer than normal, it may be a positive sign for Newcastle United supporters that their prospective new owners have reportedly not been “put off” by the length of time this takeover is taking, according to this tweet.
