With City currently 25 points behind league leaders Liverpool, it certainly appears as if Ederson and his side will not be adding another Premier League title to their collection this season.
However, with the club still currently in the Champions League and holding a 2-1 aggregate lead against Real Madrid with the second leg of the tie still to be played, they will very much be hoping that they can finally get their hands on the European trophy that has so far evaded them under the leadership of Pep Guardiola.
