Man City fan? We bet you can't get 100% on this Yaya Toure quiz. We'll start you off with an easy one... Who did Yaya Toure sign for City from back in 2010?

They included quotes from technical director Jordy Zuidam, who said (per FC Utrecht):

“We say goodbye to Mikki with mixed feelings. On one hand, we regret that in Mikki, an incredibly talented goalkeeper is leaving our Academy. We would of course have liked to see Mikki shine at the Galgenwaard Stadium, which is what we train players for.

“On the other hand, Mikki said that he really wanted to make this move and we also see his transfer to Manchester City as a compliment to our youth academy. This transfer confirms the elevated level of the Academy. We have reached an agreement with Manchester City on the transfer terms and all parties are satisfied. We wish Mikki every success in England.”

TIF Thoughts…

The young ‘keeper was signed by Utrecht from Heracles and regularly turned out for the U17 squad this season, which has also seen him earn a call up for the U15 and U16 Dutch national youth teams (per FC Utrecht).

Whilst it is difficult to see van Sas making a first-team appearance for the Citizens anytime soon, he was clearly highly rated by those at the Galgenwaard Stadium. So hopefully, he will continue his development at the Manchester club and perhaps fans will start to see more of him in the next few years.
