Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports regarding a failed bid for youngster Jayden Braaf.
According to reports in BN DeStem (via Football Oranje), City have rejected a loan offer from Dutch outfit NAC Breda for their young forward.
The report goes on to state that the partnership between NAC and Manchester City concludes in a year’s time, and the Eerste Divisie side had been hoping to loan two up-and-coming talents from Pep Guardiola’s team.
However, following NAC’s loan offer for the 17-year-old, City rejected the deal, claiming that they are not interested in letting Braaf return to the Netherlands, where the winger is originally from.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed on Twitter by Man City Xtra, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that they are pleased their club has rejected the offer, as they believe that Braaf should be in the first team this season.

Since joining Manchester City from PSV Eindhoven back in 2018, Braaf is still yet to make a senior appearance for City.
Would you like to see Braaf integrated into the first-team this season?
Yes
No
However, due to his impressive performances for City’s youth sides this season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists over his 27 appearances in all competitions, it would appear than many of the club’s fans are keen to see the winger join up with first-team training.

As one City fan points out above, another reason for some of the fans to want to integrate Braaf into the first team as soon as possible could be so that the club manages to avoid another case of what happened with Jadon Sancho, who came through City’s youth ranks before moving to Borussia Dortmund after not playing a senior game for City, and has since gone on to be valued at £105.3 million.
