Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Sky Sports over their continuous discussions on the current Premier League season being declared null and void.

This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @TheKopHQ shared a post on their page criticising Sky Sports and singling out Jamie Redknapp for their recent discussions surrounding the possible cancellation of the current season on Sky Sports’ The Football Show.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their own criticisms on the matter.

Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Due to the current global pandemic, all professional football across the country, including the Premier League, has been temporarily suspended since March.

Last week, the Premier League released a statement revealing that the season will resume later this month “provided that all safety requirements are in place” (per Premier League).

Some Liverpool fans used this as an opportunity to share their thoughts on Redknapp, who was a Liverpool player from January 1991 to July 2002 (per Transfermarkt).

It does seem slightly strange as to why Redknapp and Sky Sports are still talking about null and voiding the current season when the Premier League have already revealed that it will be returning later this month.

These responses from this group of Liverpool fans just goes to show how much they dislike Sky Sports and Redknapp.

Given how Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently 25 points ahead at the top of the Premier League table, it comes as no surprise that these fans are eager to put any ideas of voiding the season behind them and would like to just focus on finishing the season instead.
