Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest reported transfer rumour surrounding the Merseyside club.
This comes after Liverpool news Twitter account @LFCTransferRoom shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by Ilsussidiario.
The report claims that Jurgen Klopp is interested in making a transfer move for AS Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.
The report also added that Dejan Lovren could be used as part of the deal that would see the Croatian move to the Italian side.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest news.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is currently valued at £40.5 million according to Transfermarkt, making him the most valuable player at the Italian club (per Transfermarkt).

Now that it has been reported that Klopp is apparently interested in signing the young Italian, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter.
However, there were some Liverpool fans responding to this post sharing their scepticism for the transfer due to the fact that Zaniolo ruptured his cruciate ligament back in January (per Transfermarkt).
He will not play football atleast the end of the year bcuse of injury.

Before suffering this injury, Zaniolo had managed to score six goals and provide two assists in 24 appearances for the Italian side in all competitions (per Transfermarkt).
Zaniolo is currently rated as Roma’s eighth highest-rated player so far this year with a season rating of 6.91/10 for his 18 appearances in Serie A, which could be why Klopp is reportedly interested in him.

It appears that the majority of these Liverpool fans are quite open to the idea of their club making a move for Zaniolo. This just goes to show how much they admire the midfielder and believe he could be a good fit at Anfield.
But this recent injury could be an issue in regards to any potential transfer move for the 20-year-old.
