Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from James Pearce.
This comes after the Reds journalist shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing that in the latest round of testing for the current viral outbreak, there was just one positive result out of 1,197 players and club staff tested across the Premier League.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans, who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on this latest update.

Before this suspension, Jurgen Klopp’s side were flying at the top of the Premier League table having won 27 out of the 29 Premier League matches (per BBC Sport).
In a recent statement from the Premier League, they released the news that the one person who tested positive will now “self-isolate for a period of seven days”.

While it’s unfortunate that there is still one person that tested positive, the overall result from this recent round of testing is a huge step forward towards the season being resumed safely.
With the Reds within touching distance of the Premier League title, it’s understandable why so many of these Liverpool fans would be itching to get the season underway.
