Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest images of Reds attacker Roberto Firmino.
This comes after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post on their page that included two images of Firmino wearing the Reds’ 1978 Hitachi home shirt.
This post also contained a link to purchase this shirt from their official club store’s website.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were delighted to see the Brazilian wearing one of the Reds’ old home shirts.

The 28-year-old, who is currently valued at £64.8 million according to Transfermarkt, first signed to the Merseyside club back in 2015 from Hoffenheim for a fee of £36.9 million (per Transfermarkt).

It’s great to see Firmino recognising and highlighting one of Liverpool’s former kits from years gone by.
The response to this latest social media post from the Merseyside club just goes to show that they have a lot of love for Firmino and the kit he is wearing.
Given how the Brazilian has been a pivotal figure in terms of scoring goals and providing assists during his time at the club, it’s understandable why they have a lot of love for him.
