According to reports, AS Roma striker Patrik Schick – who is currently on loan at RB Leipzig – is a summer transfer target for Everton, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The reports by Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that the Premier League trio are interested in signing the 24-year-old over the upcoming transfer window.

However, the report goes on to suggest that Everton’s potential move for the forward is dependant on the club managing to sell Moise Kean, who has so far struggled to impress for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

TIF Thoughts…

Since joining RB Leipzig on loan from Roma last summer, the Czech Republic international has gone on to make 25 appearances in all competitions for Die Roten Bullen.

Meanwhile, although the reports claim that RB are not taking up the option to purchase Schick permanently this summer, the forward has impressed for the club.

Over his 21 appearances in the Bundesliga – 14 of which have been starts – the forward has scored a very respectable total of 10 goals, as well as providing two assists, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.06/10.

The 24-year-old has also performed admirably in the Champions League for Leipzig, as despite failing to either score or assist, he has averaged a match rating of 7.07.

As such, it is not particularly surprising that Schick is attracting interest from clubs such as Everton, as he has proved this season that he is a capable goalscorer in a competitive league such as the Bundesliga, as well as performing admirably in the Champions League.
