According to reports, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Watford are all interested in former Tottenham and Arsenal target Ryan Fraser.

Recent reports by The Guardian have claimed that Crystal Palace are amongst a host of clubs that are interested in the Scottish international, who rejected a short-term contract extension with his current side, Bournemouth. As such, the player will become a free agent at the end of his current contract, which expires on 30 June.

Can you score 20/20 on this Premier League quiz? Starting off easy, who is the top scorer in the Premier League this season?

While the 26-year-old had previously been linked with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal, the report from The Guardian goes on to state that neither side are following up on their interest in the winger, although, Palace, Newcastle and Watford all remain keen.

TIF Thoughts…

Since joining Bournemouth from Aberdeen for a fee of £400k back in 2013, the winger has gone on to make 208 appearances for the Cherries, scoring 24 goals and providing 33 assists.

While Fraser has not enjoyed his best form this term – averaging a WhoScored match rating of just 6.57 over his 28 Premier League appearances – the Guardian report also states that, due to transfer interest in the player last summer, Fraser claimed that he “didn’t play for the team” for the first four months of this season.

However, the reason for the mass of interest in the 26-year-old likely stems from his form throughout the 2018/19 season, in which he scored seven goals and provided a remarkable 14 assists in the Premier League, averaging an impressive average match rating of 7.08.
