According to recent reports by Dean Jones in Bleacher Report, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is continuing to ‘look for a path out’ of the south London club this summer, with Everton reportedly interested in the 27-year-old.

In the reports, Jones states that Zaha is keen to leave Palace in the very near future, with the player claiming in an interview with Rio Ferdinand on his YouTube show, The Locker Room, that it was ‘amazing’ to be linked to Arsenal last year.

Jones goes on to suggest that Zaha would be willing to move abroad this summer, with the report claiming that Paris Saint-Germain are a potential candidate for the Ivory Coast international’s signature, while Everton are touted as a Premier League option for the player, however, Zaha is reported to be waiting for a bigger club than the Toffees to come forward for him.

TIF Thoughts…

Over his two spells at Crystal Palace, Zaha has made 353 appearances for the club, scoring 56 goals and providing 70 assists.

However, it would appear that the winger has struggled somewhat so far this season, managing just three goals and three assists over his 29 Premier League appearances.

Having said this, despite making just six direct contributions to goals for his side, the 27-year-old has still averaged an impressive 7.06/10 WhoScored match rating in the league, ranking him as Palace’s best outfield player so far this season.

Will Zaha remain a Crystal Palace player next season?

As such, it would undoubtedly be a blow for the south London club to lose Zaha this summer, however, with Transfermarkt currently valuing the 27-year-old at £39.6m, the club would likely receive a decent amount of money upon his departure – and more than enough, one would assume, to find a suitable replacement for the winger.
