Paris FC have announced that Samuel Yohou has been released from the club, and this could be important for Leeds because a report in Le 10 Sport linked the Whites with a move for Yohou last month.

Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

The report stated that Leeds would face competition from Coventry City and Crotone and that all three clubs had started talking to Yohou’s representatives.

Marcelo Bielsa apparently rates Yohou’s physical qualities and technical ability, and the fact his current club have released him might make him an even more appealing prospect.

TIF Thoughts…

Ben White’s loan deal expires at the end of the season, and Brighton & Hove Albion claim he is going to be part of their plans next year.

However, the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and City are all sniffing around the 22-year-old, so it is unlikely that he will be at Elland Road next season.

This could explain why the Whites are interested in Yohou, who made 21 league appearances in the 2019/20 season.

Leeds proved with the signing of White that they don’t need to spend big money to pick up a good signing – as the Brighton man has been outstanding this season earning an average rating of 7.05 and completing the most interceptions in the league.

Therefore, if Leeds do make a move for Yohou he could turn out to be a good signing.

However, before any transfer decisions are made at Elland Road, you would think that Leeds would have to know what league they will be playing in first.
