Phil Hay has been discussing the future of Jean-Kevin Augustin with the Frenchman’s loan from RB Leipzig set to expire next Tuesday.
Hay claimed that Leeds think they have until 30th June to make a decision on Augustin but that he would be surprised if the Whites do extend his deal considering he is not fit.
Leeds seem to think they have until June 30 to extend JKA, because it's a loan (not him out of contract). Regardless, I'd be surprised if they do extend given that he's not fit. But he is still in Leeds.

Augustin picked up an injury in training and therefore was not involved in the squad for the Whites’ 2-0 defeat to Cardiff City, where they did not have a striker on the bench as Tyler Roberts played a midfield role.
So, it looks like Augustin will be leaving Elland Road next week, having only made three first-team appearances.
Do you expect to see Augustin back in a Leeds shirt?
No, I think this the end for him
Yes, he will play some part
TIF Thoughts…
Augustin arrived in January from RB Leipzig on loan until the end of the season, but he has managed just 48 minutes on the pitch for Leeds.
The Frenchman had returned from lockdown in good shape, and the Whites were expecting big things from him, but an injury looks to have robbed the 23-year-old of showing everyone what he can do.
Leeds had 69% possession against Cardiff City and had 17 shots but struggled to breakdown Neil Harris’ side, and it looks like they could be without Augustin for the visit of Fulham as well, as he is still not fit.
This is a huge match as Scott Parker’s side are seven points behind Marcelo Bielsa’s men – so a win for Fulham could blow the race for automatic promotion wide open.
It will be interesting to see how Leeds cope against Fulham on Saturday.
