Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

A Leeds source has told Football Insider that the Whites are keeping an eye on the 24-year-old defender after he helped Coventry win promotion from League One.

The piece states that Rose, who is valued at £293k (as per Transfermarkt), has one year left on his deal for the Sky Blues, and his club ‘face a battle’ to keep him despite winning promotion.

It is claimed that Leeds are targeting centre-back reinforcements and are interested in both Daniel Ayala and Juan Foyth, but Rose is also an option.

Would you be keen on a move for Rose?

TIF Thoughts…

Rose made 31 appearances for Coventry in the league 30 of which were starts and earned an average rating of 7 for his performances.

He also averaged 1.1 interceptions and 1.2 tackles per game. These are good numbers; however, it must be remembered that he was playing in a lower league than the Whites.

Ben White’s long-term future looks to be away from Elland Road with the 22-year-old set to return to Brighton & Hove Albion once his loan move is complete and the Seagulls intend to use him in their squad next season.

However, the likes of Manchester United, City, and Liverpool are all sniffing around, so either way, Leeds will probably have to find a replacement.

Ayala represents a solid Championship option due to the number of appearances he has made, and Foyth has international experience.

Rose could represent more of a risk, but he might be worth Leeds taking a punt on.

It will be interesting to see if the Whites do try to sign the 24-year-old.
