Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

The report claims that the Whites could ‘knock on Besiktas’ door’ with an offer for the Canada international.

Larin was on loan at Belgian side Zulte Waregem but has recently returned to Istanbul – although he is not expected to be a part of Besiktas’ plans.

It is claimed that the Whites are ready to submit a bid of €2.2m, which is ‘likely to be accepted’ as Larin is a player they are willing to part ways with.

Would Larin be someone you would want Leeds to sign?

TIF Thoughts…

This is a very low price for Larin, and if the report is to be believed, the Whites are keen on securing the signature of the 25-year-old. Larin has scored nine goals and made 11 assists while on loan in Belgium this season, while he also has eight goals for Besiktas and eight strikes for his country.

So, he may not have the greatest goalscoring record, but it could be argued that Marcelo Bielsa wants more from his strikers than goals; that is why he is always full of praise for Patrick Bamford, despite the Englishman often missing many chances.

However, with the Whites currently chasing promotion, it seems unlikely they will be considering any transfer moves until they know what league they are in.

The Championship is set to resume this weekend, and Leeds begin with a trip to Cardiff City, with the Whites top of the table and seven points clear of third-placed Fulham.

If they do manage to win promotion to the Premier League, then it will be interesting to see if Leeds make a move for Larin.
