Many West Brom fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Baggies-focused Twitter account @BaggiesHQ which asks fans of the club if they expect Nathan Ferguson to leave the club this summer.
This post has prompted plenty of West Brom fans to share their views on the 19-year-old defender’s future, with many of them suggesting that they either don’t want or don’t expect Ferguson, who is currently valued at £3.6m by Transfermarkt, to remain at The Hawthorns for next season.
As per the BBC, Ferguson had been set to leave West Brom to join Crystal Palace back in the January transfer window, however, that move ultimately fell through as the 19-year-old’s medical showed that he “was carrying a knee injury”.
However, this article which was published by the BBC back in February also states that discussions between the club and the player’s representatives “indicate that the teenage defender will leave at the end of the season”.

He blatantly tries to leave when he had fan support and was getting good game time without any explanation. I quite liked him before it aswell. But now? Nah mate, he can go to Crystal Palace like he wanted.

If he doesn’t want to be here then he shouldn’t be part of the team’s plans, simple

I would move him on and revest the money into a centre back to play with semi next season

What do we think?
Considering that he had reportedly been close to leaving the club in the January transfer window, it may be understandable why these Baggies fans don’t seem to think that Ferguson has much of a future at The Hawthorns.
