Some West Brom fans have been buzzing in response to a tweet that was recently posted by Baggies-focused journalist Joseph Masi, which shares that the club are reportedly “monitoring” Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Masi’s tweet links to an article that was recently published by The Express and Star, which claims that “the Baggies have compiled two lists of transfer targets for the 2020/21 campaign”, with one containing a list of targets in the event they are promoted to the Premier League and another containing a list of targets should they be competing in the Championship next season.
This report doesn’t specify which of these two lists Osayi-Samuel is on, however, it does claim that the Baggies “are interested” in the 22-year-old, who is described as being “one of QPR’s standout performers” this season.
Some Baggies fans have been pleased by this news. Read the positive reactions of some West Brom fans to this report in the tweets below.

Good young prospect. I’m guessing as his coming into his last year of contract will be a bargain

he scored 14 goals for QPR
good player— james duffy (@barryd19651) May 15, 2020
What do we think?
According to Transfermarkt, Osayi-Samuel has scored five league goals and provided eight league assists for QPR this season. Only four Baggies players have scored more league goals than the QPR man has this term, while Matheus Pereira is the only Baggies player to provide more Championship assists than Osayi-Samuel, who is currently valued at £1.53m by Transfermarkt.
With this in mind, it may be understandable why these West Brom fans have been reacting positively to this report.
