Sheffield Wednesday-focused journalist Alex Miller recently posted a tweet in which he quotes the Owls’ assistant manager Lee Bullen after he recently spoke with The Sheffield Star to discuss Wednesday’s ambition for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
Miller posted this tweet in response to a previous tweet that included a link to this article from The Sheffield Star which features some comments from Bullen. The Owls assistant manager states that his side are still aiming to finish inside the Championship’s top six this season and Miller’s recent tweet quotes Bullen as saying that Wednesday have proven that they “can go on a good run”.
While Bullen is optimistic about his side’s chances should the 2019/20 Championship season resume, some Wednesday fans have shared a different view to their club’s assistant manager in response to Miller’s tweet. Read the reactions of some Owls fans to this post in the tweets below.

“Listen, we're not stupid. We know it's going to be a very, very tough ask and that we've put ourselves into this predicament, but we've also proven earlier on in the season that we can go on a good run.”#SWFC https://t.co/y6aRcPTlKd

The sooner he departs the better. Bullen was a great servant as a player and seems a good bloke but he’s part of the problem now, not the solution.

Do you think that Sheffield Wednesday can finish in a playoff place this season?YESNO |
All this PR for full pay.

Does that mean Sam Hutchinson has returned to first team training ?? Coz if there planning on playing Pelupessy in the remaining games our chances of survival are slim #swfc

Don’t take us for idiots Bullen. We will be lucky to survive (we won’t if we get docked points). This squad is a disgrace. People like Pessy should be nowhere near the squad. If Pessy, Nuhiu etc get new contracts it will be a joke.

What do we think?
All Championship clubs have got nine league games remaining in the 2019/20 season at present. Considering that Wednesday currently sit in 15th place on the league table, eight points away from the playoffs, it may be understandable why these Owls fans don’t seem to share Bullen’s belief in the team to sneak into a playoff place.
