Fans of Rangers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays news of Peter Lawwell’s speech regarding the SPFL EGM vote which took place on Tuesday.
The post by Rangers Culture on Twitter shared an image of a Daily Record article, which reported that Lawwell made a ‘rousing’ speech against the Gers’ proposal for a second independent investigation into the SPFL during the EGM on Tuesday.
In reaction, fans of Rangers have flocked to Twitter to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that the SPFL are puppets of Lawwell, while others have claimed that Lawwell had nothing to do with the vote, and shouldn’t have been allowed to make a speech.
Do you believe that the SPFL is a corrupt organisation?
Yes

Why the hell is Lawell making a speech? He isn’t on the board and the investigation has nothing to do with Celtic!

What do we think?
Following the news that SPFL clubs have ‘resoundingly rejected‘ the resolution put forward by Rangers to hold an independent investigation into Scottish football’s governing body, it is no surprise to see that many of the Rangers fans feel aggrieved, especially as Lawwell made a speech directly opposing Rangers’ proposals.
However, the vote has seemingly proved that the vast majority of Scottish football clubs do not support Rangers in their claims against the SPFL.
