Fans of Nottingham Forest have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which discusses the club’s 2019/20 season.
The post, which was uploaded by NottinghamForestLive on Twitter, asked fans of the club what they believe the EFL should do about Forest’s 2019/20 campaign.
In reaction to the post, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that the 2019/20 season should only resume when it is safe to do so, and that next season should not start until the current season has been completed, while others have, in stark contrast, suggested that the current Championship season should be binned.
Do you think the 2019/20 Championship season should be made void?

Finish this season when it’s safe to do so. You can’t start next season until this one is complete.

Season should be finished 3 games in a week behind closed doors. It really wouldn’t take long

Either bin it now or cancel next season so we have maximum time to finish this one.

What do we think?
There are many options to consider as to when or if the current Championship season should be completed.
Player and staff safety should always be the primary concern, and if Championship clubs feel that they are endangering their players and staff in any way, the season should not be resumed until they believe it is 100% safe to do so.
However, if this is the case, it leaves the question as to what should be done with the current season, with Leeds and West Brom occupying the automatic promotion places, Fulham, Brentford, Forest and Preston in the play-off positions, and Charlton, Luton and Barnsley in the relegation zone.
Is it fair for the teams who have performed so well this season to have their efforts voided through no fault of their own, and, likewise, is it fair to relegate Charlton, Luton and Barnsley when they are just two, six and seven points off safety respectively with nine games still remaining this season?
The answers to these questions remain unclear, and, as can be seen from their comments, fans of Forest appear split on what should be done with the remainder of the Championship season.
