A group of Leeds United supporters have been responding to a post by the EFL on Twitter which labelled the second leg of the play-off semi-final between the Whites and Derby County last season as one of the most dramatic ever.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side won at Pride Park, but Frank Lampard’s team ran out 4-2 winners at Elland Road, denying the Yorkshire-based club a place in the final. It’s safe to say the 15th May 2019 is a date the Leeds fans would rather forget, so how have they reacted to the EFL’s reminder?

Best day in Derby’s existence

Stop crying Frank Lampard came back to properly bite us that night.. Knew it was coming as soon as Casilla/Cooper messed up for their goal.

Fair play to Derby, they might not have gone on to win the play offs last year but they are tearing up the league this season.

Are you over last season's play-off semi final defeat?
Yes
No
The sad thing is that derby would have rather have won that game than the actual final. Absolute tin pot

How’s it gone since then boys?

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses, the post hasn’t gone down well with the Elland Road faithful, many of which were keen to point out that Derby were beaten in the final by Aston Villa and denied promotion.
At this current time, Leeds United sit 20 points clear of the Rams and on course for automatic promotion – so achieving it could mean Bielsa and Leeds will have had the last laugh.
