Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a tweet from Graham Smyth, which relayed an article of his on Victor Orta.
In Smyth’s article for the Yorkshire Evening Post, which quoted an interview with BBC Sport, the club’s director of football discussed player movement and recruitment, which had lots of fans talking when shared to Twitter (via @GrahamSmyth).
Victor Orta expecting 'ethical' behaviour from clubs when it comes to player availability/movement.https://t.co/QbhKbpj1mG#lufc

Just can’t see the Championship resuming. Dan Roan said testing alone will cost £30k a wk, and that’s just the start, lots of other expensive measures – amd all with no match day revenue until Jan at least.

the longer this goes on the more and more i can’t see the remaining championship games being played. very few clubs are cash rich, can see PPG being used and the season ended early. PL to then play their games at neutral venues or use PPG as to decide positions

Football? Ethical? Nah
— Adam Barlow (@AdamPaulBarlow) May 12, 2020
Would you expect other football clubs to act ethically in regards to player movements?Yes, I have faith in what others doNo, we shouldn't trust anyone |
In the interview, Orta explained that during the current viral outbreak it is a “good moment for our (Leeds’) analysis to be deeper” on possible signings, however, he expected ‘ethical’ behaviour in regards to player movements (via BBC).
So, after the report containing the quotes from the director of football was relayed to supporters on Twitter (per @GrahamSmyth), fans continued having their say.
Ethical? Good luck with that one Victor

i was thinking about this, i bet Brighton ask for White back… i dont expect them to display ‘ethical behaviour’
— Charlsella Bielsenberg ?? (@charlieros1e) May 12, 2020
If Brighton bring White back I can’t see him having the same motivation as he would have playing for promotion

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from these Leeds fans, there is a couple of different reactions but the majority seem to feel that ‘ethical’ behaviour from other clubs will be unlikely.
As Orta stated, though, he trusts in “the goodwill of people and relationships” (via BBC). So, hopefully, the Spaniard will not come to regret or misplace his trust.
