A group of Leeds United supporters have been reacting to a goals compilation shared on Twitter by the BBC’s Adam Pope. Originally posted by @walmot_adz, the video contains footage of goals from Luke Ayling, Pablo Hernandez, Tyler Roberts, Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford with commentary from Pope.
The Whites have improved significantly under Marcelo Bielsa and missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season when they were defeated in the play-off semi-finals by Frank Lampard’s Derby County. The Yorkshire-based club hope to go one better this season but as is evident in this footage, there have been some fantastic moments since the Argentinian took the reins at Elland Road.
Here is how some of the fans have responded to the post.
Makes me feel a tad emotional I miss it so much. The church on a Saturday afternoon was the escape from the real world for 90 mins. Sooner it’s back the better ??

Really missing #lufc commentary from @apopey & Noel Whelan, lets hope we can hear them again soon with #lufc winning the championship & promotion to the Premier League. #mot #alaw

Are you confident fans will be allowed to return to stadiums before 2021?
Yes
No
@apopey and @NoelDavidWhelan combo is class! Even if watching on Sky or at the game! First thing when you get home is find the GET INSSSS! It’s become part Leeds life! Keep up the good work lads!

Love listening to the comentary of the goals fantastic!will you be allowed in the grounds for the future games behind closed doors??

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that these Leeds United fans miss Pope’s commentary as well as the actual football itself. The Championship could resume next month with all games being played behind closed doors, but it is not known whether multiple broadcast teams will be allowed inside the stadium due to the safety measures being put in place.
