To kick things off what season is this from?

Football Insider claims that Leeds can sign the Liverpool winger for a knock-down fee this summer and that Marcelo Bielsa is a ‘big admirer’ of the man on loan at Bournemouth.

The piece also states that the Whites had wanted him in both of the summers of 2018 and 2019 before he joined Derby County and Bournemouth respectively.

This report has gone down well with these Leeds fans, who would love to see Wilson at Elland Road next year.

Wilson has made 23 appearances for the Cherries in the league this season and scored seven goals for the team that are currently 18th in the table.

Would you be happy if Leeds signed Wilson?

Yes, he could do a job

No, would want someone else

No, would want someone else

However, according to WhoScored, his average rating in the league for Eddie Howe’s men is only 6.64/10, but that seems a bit harsh considering his goal tally this season.

In any case, it is clear to see why these Leeds fans want to sign Wilson so badly.

One fan even believes that Wilson could be Pablo Hernandez’s long-term replacement.

The Welsh international spent the 2018/19 season on loan with Derby County and proved to be a revelation for the Rams, scoring 16 goals and providing four assists in the Championship.

He also scored in the second leg of the play-off semi-final against the Whites at Elland Road, though it seems that there are some Whites fans don’t want to sign Wilson.

One supporter even believes that Wilson is just a worse version of Jack Harrison, while another stated that they wanted to keep Harrison instead.

No matter what league the Whites find themselves in next season, Wilson would probably be a good signing as he has proved in both divisions that he can score goals.

That he is reportedly available for a knock-down fee arguably makes this deal even better, and if he becomes available, the Whites should be at the front of the queue trying to sign him.

If the report in Football Insider is to be believed, then Wilson is also liked by Bielsa, and that could be enough to convince the doubters about his ability as a player.
