A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing a recent Twitter post from Ian Poveda. The winger, who signed for the Elland Road club in January, shared an image of himself with a football while poking fun at Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Poveda signed for the Whites from the current Premier League champions Manchester City on a free transfer but he is yet to make a senior appearance for Marcelo Bielsa’s side (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk).
Earlier this week, Championship clubs began small group training sessions as they ramp up their preparations ahead of the season’s proposed restart next month. Poveda’s post could be deemed as an attempt to poke fun at the current British Prime Minister, so how has it gone down with these Leeds fans?
Let’s get it Ian ??

What do we think?
It is clear from the above responses that these Leeds United supporters were pleased to see Poveda working in training and opted to completely overlook what looks to be a dig at the UK government.
