Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Adam Pope shares a BBC Sport article regarding the Premier League’s resumption.
The BBC Sport article claims that the Premier League are planning ‘surprise inspections’ during training sessions, in a bid to ensure that clubs are adhering to new safety guidelines as they prepare for the resumption of the competition.
In reaction to the article, which was relayed by Pope on Twitter, fans of Leeds have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that the news is good, as they expected some Premier League clubs to intentionally break the rules.

£200,000 fines if in breach of any rule (or even if not in breach of any rule if we’re involved)

What do we think?
While the article shared by Pope primarily concerns the Premier League, the conclusion of the piece touches on what the top flight’s training proposals mean for the Championship, in which clubs have apparently taken the Premier League’s decision regarding the resumption of training as a green light for them to also restart training under the same conditions.
As such, it would appear that the Championship season could yet resume, meaning that Leeds could yet see out their remaining nine fixtures to ensure that they secure promotion to the Premier League on the pitch.
