Some Celtic fans have been talking about the club’s latest links with defender Aleksandar Vukotic.
Belgian outlet Le Soir recently reported that the Hoops are looking at the possibility of signing the Waasland-Beveren defender. The report also said that another Jupiler Pro League side, Mechelen, are also interested in signing the Serbian.
Hoops-related page CelticBible recently relayed this information on Twitter. Many Celtic fans flocked to this and made their negative opinions clear.

As per Soccerment, Vukotic made 27 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League this season and while playing at centre-back, he also scored two goals. He has a Soccerment Performance Rating of 45.
He is currently valued at £495k, as per Transfermarkt.
What do we think?
These Celtic fans seem divided by the club’s chase of Vukotic. Some feel that the club should sign him, while others feel that he won’t be a good signing.
Soccerment (subscription needed) states that Vukotic has an aerial duel success ratio of 70.6%. He also has a tackle success rate of 62.5%.
This suggests that the Serbian is a good defender and if Kristoffer Ajer does leave, as has been rumoured, Vukotic could be a good replacement for him.
