Some Celtic fans have been talking about an image of an old kit that emerged on Twitter.
Celtic fan ‘St. Anthony’ recently posted an image from 1998. It had former player Harald Brattbakk celebrating a goal while being surrounded by his teammates. The post said that the jersey in the image was liked by many Celtic fans, but the post owner wasn’t ‘keen’ on it themselves.
On seeing this image, many Celtic fans expressed their own feelings about the kit. There was a difference of opinion in that regard.
Not for me

Was this an 'unlucky' Celtic strip?
Yes, it was
No, it wasn't
Nor me

Didn’t like it when it came out, we lost 3-2 at Pittodrie, 2 missed penalties, out the League Cup to Airdrie. Think those were first two outings. Pumped off Zurich, Larsson’s leg break sealed it then. Looking at it now it’s just not a nice strip. Unlucky and looks bad ?

I liked the strip more than I liked Harald Brattbak

Henrick leg break strip?

What do we think?
Some fans seem to suggest that they don’t like the jersey because it is from the same time as Henrik Larsson’s leg break in 1999. With that in mind, one can see why they don’t have a liking for that particular strip.
But with the Hoops now having struck a new deal with Adidas, fans can have hope of getting some more likeable jerseys that they are proud of. Since it is a record kit deal, they can certainly keep their expectations high.
