Some Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet that Jim Spence recently relayed on social media.
Spence’s latest tweet talked about how people in Dundee have been calling him a ‘Tim’ and mistaking him to be a Celtic fan. He also talked about his admiration for what Celtic achieved in their 1967 European Cup triumph irrespective of his true allegiances. In a sarcastic way, he ended his tweet with ‘HH’.
Many Celtic fans flocked to this tweet from Spence. They encouraged him to become a Celtic fan, while others said that they might have incorrectly spent ‘Jim’ for ‘Tim’.
Your always welcome with the bhoys HH

Would you mind accepting Spence as a Celtic fan?
I'd welcome him!
No chance
Come on over to my place
Hey, Jim, we’re having a party
We’ll be swinging, dancing and singing
Spency, come on over tonight ?— Lisbonpilgrim ? (@Estadio_Jamor) May 25, 2020
You saying you’re not a Tim Jim ? ?????

But surely “Jim the Tim “ is miles better than “Jim the Arab?” …. I mean Jim … it even rhymes! ????

No problem with people calling me a Tim, because I am. No problem calling me a Bear, or Arab, or Jambo, or Staggie, I simply correct the misconception…. Unless ‘tim’ is a euphemism, Jim…. ?

Maybe they just mis-spelt Jim ?

What do we think?
The recent SPFL controversy which saw Rangers accuse the authorities of bullying and coercion had Spence favour Celtic and the SPFL. Many of his tweets show that. It shows why many can mistake him for being a Celtic fan. The comments of the club’s fans show that they would welcome the chance to add another person to their stable.
