Some Celtic fans have been talking about Odsonne Edouard after the Frenchman recently tweeted about the club’s title win.
Edouard’s latest tweet had the Celtic striker post nine trophy emojis and he also tagged the official Celtic Twitter account on it. This comes after the Hoops were awarded their ninth successive Premiership title on Monday.
Many Celtic fans flocked to Edouard’s tweet. They lauded him and made it clear that they want the striker to stay at Parkhead.

The 2019/20 season has seen Edouard score regularly for the Hoops. The Frenchman has scored 27 goals, while racking up 19 assists in all competitions. In the Premiership, he has scored 21 goals, while also assisting 12 times (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
Edouard’s goalscoring contributions show how crucial a player he is for the Hoops. It also shows how important he has been in helping the club win the Premiership title. If he does stay at Celtic for another season, his goals could prove crucial to helping the Hoops win a 10th Premiership title in a row. It shows why Celtic fans are clearly desperate to see him stay at Parkhead.
