Many Celtic fans have been raving at the latest video that striker Leigh Griffiths recently relayed on social media.
Griffiths relayed a video from Everything Celtic recently. The video was a piece of footage from the Old Firm derby that was played at the end of 2019 that had seen Celtic lose 2-1. The caption of the video mocked the Hoops’ Old Firm rivals. Griffiths shared this, posting some laughing emojis, along with the caption: ‘My sides’.
Many Celtic fans flocked to Griffiths’ tweet. They raved at the striker and how he performed in the 2019/20 season.
Stop “trolling” Leigh , there are people out there who will take time out of their day and tweet you abuse and hurt your feelings ???

Remember when they sang you wouldn’t be playing football anymore Griff.
Then after the break you came back on fire and absolutely destroyed their hopes ?— London Tim (@McGuire_67) May 18, 2020
The video originates from the match which had seen Rangers win 2-1 in December’s Premiership clash. This result saw the Gers cut the gap with Celtic down to two points with a game in hand (via BBC Sport).
However, when football was suspended because of the pandemic, Celtic were 13 points clear of the Gers – and were awarded the Premiership title on Monday.
What do we think?
Considering how the Hoops have won the title so convincingly despite losing the Old Firm in December gives Celtic fans every reason to be delighted about this. Griffiths scored seven Premiership goals in 2020 and he also has every reason to be pleased with his team’s efforts.
