Many Celtic fans have flocked to Scott Brown’s tweet after the club were confirmed as the Scottish champions for the ninth time in a row. At the time play stopped, the Hoops were 13 points clear at the top of the division and have now been awarded their 51st league title (as per Sky Sports).
Brown, the club’s captain, has made 29 appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season, contributing two goals and picking up six yellow cards along the way (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). This title is his 10th with the Glasgow-based club having also won seven Scottish League Cups and five Scottish Cups.
Here is how some of the Celtic faithful have responded to the 34-year-old’s post.
