Image for Birmingham City: Fans flock to club tweet featuring Pep Clotet image

Some Birmingham City fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by the club’s official Twitter account which shared an image of the club’s manager Pep Clotet, along with the word ‘Boss’.

This image of the manager could potentially have been taken during a recent Blues training session after the club returned to their ‘Trillion Trophy Training Centre’ this past Monday for the first time since professional football was postponed in England back in March.

The Spanish coach can be seen wearing a black cap, a black training top, and sunglasses, whilst he looks to be staring attentively into the distance in this image. Clotet can be seen wearing what appears to be this same cap and training top in some images that Birmingham City shared from their first day back at training via their official website

This tweet has drawn a largely positive reaction from the Blues fans who have been responding to it, with one Birmingham City fan stating that it’s “great to see” Clotet. However, one Blues fan took this opportunity to question how long the 43-year-old will remain the club’s manager, while another Birmingham supporter stated that Clotet looks like a coach driver.

Considering that they haven’t had the opportunity to see their team in Championship action since the seventh of March, it may be understandable why the majority of these Blues fans seem pleased by this image of Clotet, as they may be looking forward to seeing him on the touchline again, should the 2019/20 Championship season resume.
