Supporters of West Ham United have been reacting to a club announcement detailing refunds for season tickets and pre-purchased tickets.
As revealed by the club on Wednesday, with the Premier League expected to return without fans present, those with season tickets or pre-purchased tickets for games over the remainder of this season can be credited the value of their tickets for further purchases or receive a refund (per West Ham).
So, when the announcement was shared to social media (per West Ham), some supporters aired their delight with the club.
An update for all Season Ticket Holders, Club London Members and those who have purchased match tickets for the remaining fixtures in the 2019/20 Premier League season.

The announcement went on to reveal that the club ‘will contact supporters directly at the appropriate time’ in regards to purchasing season tickets for the 2020/21 term (per West Ham).
So, after the club announcement was relayed to social media (per West Ham), supporters continued airing their reactions to it.

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from West Ham supporters, some fans were pleased that the club had made an announcement regarding ticket refunds, although some seemed to suggest that it was overdue.
It is good to see that the club has offered refunds, with the option to credit the value of the remaining games off of the value of next season’s season ticket if supporters wish (per West Ham) also a positive idea.
