Supporters of West Ham United have been airing their fury after the club made an announcement regarding a return to training.
On Monday, the Hammers revealed that the first-team squad will ‘step up’ to ‘smaller group training’ on Tuesday after the Premier League ‘confirmed the agreed requirements’ (per West Ham), which had fans voicing concerns.

Is it a mistake for the Hammers to be returning to training so soon?Yes, it's far too soonNo, not a problem |
The statement from the club went on to explain that Premier League shareholders voted unanimously to return to training, however, the players and staff will still be maintaining social distancing.
West Ham’s post went on to explain that ‘the health and wellbeing of all participants is the Premier League’s priority’.
However, when the announcement was shared to social media (per West Ham), supporters continued airing their disappointment over the news.
Why, Scottish prem have ended their season on moral and ethical grounds, not wanting to take up testing kits that are more needed on the front line! The prem league and the clubs need to to be more responsible, I love being a season ticket holder and love football but come on!!

Football is dead. Think that’s me done. To put money rights etc before player safety, the fans and the actual game itself speaks VOLUMES when countries who are much further to recovery have finished the season.

Our board always put money before the safety of players, staff and fans. They are a joke…

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from the London Stadium faithful, they are clearly frustrated that the players and coaching staff will be returning to training.
Hopefully, though, if the players and staff maintain social distancing as outlined in the announcement (per West Ham), they will remain safe.
