Supporters of West Ham United have taken to social media to slate Ryan Fredericks after being asked for their opinions on the full-back.
On Monday, @COYIrons_com asked fans if the English defender was overrated or underrated, which led some supporters to slate him.

In your opinion, is Ryan Fredericks overrated or underrated by supporters?Overrated, he's just not good enoughUnderrated, fans are too harsh |
The 27-year-old right-back has been with the Hammers since the summer of 2018 after he arrived at the London Stadium on a free transfer from Fulham (per Transfermarkt).
In his time with the Irons, the defender has made 38 appearances, scored two, assisted three (per Transfermarkt) and convinced some fans that he is not good enough.
Bang average player I think, sorry.

None. He is just not good enough for us or the premier League

He is supposed to be lightening fast, but haven’t seen that from him for some time

Overrated, Ngakia starts ahead of him all day long.

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from some of the London Stadium faithful, it is clear to see that some supporters have been disappointed with the £3.6 million-rated defender (per Transfermarkt).
With a 6.77/10 average rating over 20 Premier League outings having made the full-back the seventh-best performer for the Hammers this season (per WhoScored), though, perhaps fans are being overly harsh.
