On Monday, a West Ham fan account quote tweeted a Twitter post which stated that the DR Congo national is a ‘serious baller‘, which led to lots of fans slating the defender (via @WHUFCFZ).

Over almost four years with the Irons since signing from Olympiakos (per Transfermarkt), the defender has scored one goal and assisted seven in 91 appearances (per Transfermarkt).

However, following the post to Twitter which looked to praise the left-back (per @efcliam_), the London Stadium faithful continued slating Masuaku.

What do we think?

As can be judged from the responses of these West Ham supporters, it is clear that many fans do not rate the 26-year-old defender.

However, while a 6.63/10 average rating in the Premier League this season is a little on the uninspiring side (per WhoScored), it does make Masuaku the best-performing left-back in West Ham’s squad.
