To kick off this quiz on the goings-on with West Ham last week, interview footage of which player emerged on Twitter discussing the Premier League's potential return?

Is the goal scored by Jordan Ayew down to his class or West Ham's poor defending?

The goal scored by the 28-year-old Ghanaian came in a 2-1 defeat for the Hammers away at Selhurst Park earlier this season, with the match-winning goal scored by Ayew in the 90th minute (per BBC).

However, following Crystal Palace’s footage post, supporters of West Ham were not keen to praise the opposition player and instead looked to blame their own defenders.

What do we think?

As can be seen in these responses from West Ham supporters, they are still furious over their side’s defending during Ayew’s goal against the Irons in December.

Considering the goal came late in the game to seal a defeat for the Hammers when the side had been leading (per BBC), that may be another route of frustration surrounding the goal.
