Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the reported news that the Premier League could resume with Spurs against Manchester United in June.
According to ESPN (via LastWordonSpurs), the Premier League have pencilled in Spurs’ home game against Manchester United as a potential fixture to restart top-flight football. The North London club were supposed to face Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side back in March, in what would have been an important fixture in the context of the top-four race in the top flight.
Had the game gone ahead, Spurs would have been without the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, Steven Bergwijn and Moussa Sissoko, as they were all injured at the time, but after Mourinho confirmed earlier this week that all of his injured players were now back fit, it seems as if all four could feature in the potential Premier League re-opener.
The report also stated that while the Premier League had been hoping to resume on 12th June, the expectation for resumption is now for 19th or 26th June (per ESPN).

What do we think?
It will be a great game to restart the Premier League should this report come to fruition, and these Spurs fans seem confident that with a fully fit squad available to them, they will be able to secure three points against Mourinho’s old side.
