Spurs fans have flocked to a post from Harry Kane after he posted a tweet in recognition of VE Day.
The England international posted a picture of himself alongside an outline of a soldier, saying: “On the 75th anniversary of #VEDay we stop to remember those who gave everything and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.” This has subsequently attracted the attention of plenty of Lilywhites supporters, who were quick to tweet their praise for the 26-year-old.
So far this season, the Spurs academy graduate has hit 17 goals for the club in all competitions and averaged an impressive 7.30 rating for his performances in the Premier League. A hamstring injury in January had looked to end his season, but with the top-flight currently suspended, it seems as if he might be able to have an impact on the remainder of the Lilywhites’ season, should football resume.
Will Kane be able to push Spurs back up the table should football resume?
