Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reports on Lille Sporting Director Luis Campos.
According to BeIN SPORTS (via Daily Hotspur), the 55-year-old is now expected to stay with the Ligue 1 side this summer. Reports in recent weeks have suggested that the Portuguese director was likely to leave the French club and look for pastures new, with Spurs being heavily linked due to Campos’ relationship with Jose Mourinho.
The two worked together at Real Madrid, with Campos describing the Spurs head coach as “like a brother to me” in an interview with Sky Sports last year. However, this latest report suggests that a move to North London this summer is no longer on the cards.
