Tottenham fans have been discussing Borussia Monchengladbach ace Alassane Plea on Twitter after it was suggested that Spurs are keen on the striker, however, they could face competition from Leicester City, Arsenal and Manchester United, according to Sport Bild.

It is thought that the North London club are monitoring the French striker ahead of a potential summer move. The 27-year-old showed no signs of rustiness as he opened the scoring after just 37 seconds in Monchengladbach’s 3-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend, as football in Germany returned after its enforced suspension.

These Spurs fans would clearly love to see the club make a move for Plea this summer.

What do we think?

Plea has enjoyed a strong season in the Bundesliga, and if Spurs could bring in the £21.6 million-rated man this summer, perhaps he could be an excellent strike partner or backup to Harry Kane next season.
