Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing Lille striker Victor Osimhen after it was suggested that the French club have received a transfer offer from the North London club for the 21-year-old.
According to journalist @abdellahboulma (via Daily Hotspur), Spurs have bid for the Nigerian striker, with Lille hoping for £85 million. However, that fee is largely overestimated, according to the journalist. The Lilywhites have been previously linked with a move for the 21-year-old, who hit 13 goals in Ligue 1 this season, averaging an impressive 7.14 rating (per WhoScored).
With the French top flight having been cancelled due to the current viral outbreak, Lille officially finished fourth, meaning they will have to settle for a spot in the Europa League. Perhaps this could lead them to cash in on the young striker this summer, although with Spurs also looking unlikely to secure Champions League football, it may be a surprise to see him join them.
Is Osimhen a realistic signing for Spurs this summer?

Brilliant signing this would be. They want 85 million though so absolutely no chance

These Spurs fans are clearly delighted with the reported news on Osimhen.
What do we think?
Considering it was reported earlier this month that Spurs will be reliant on free transfers and swap deals this summer, it seems unlikely that they will pay the necessary fee to bring Osimhen to the Premier League.
